Creating personalized marriage ceremonies with a lot of heart

Hi there! Thanks for visiting me today, I’m happy you’re here. 

In 2018, I officiated my first wedding for friends. I knew I'd enjoy it but didn't anticipate just how much I'd love it. It's one of the most special things you can do for other people, helping them solidify their commitment to one another and kick off the next chapter in their relationship. 

It's not lost on me how special it is when couples choose me to perform their ceremony. I love getting to know them and finding ways to personalize their ceremony to suit them. Each love story matters, and it’s my goal to help tell those stories as couples level up their commitment in front of family and friends. It’s so fun to see their smiles and giggles when I weave in details that are meaningful to their unique journey. 

Are you looking for some fun facts about me? Here’s a few:

1. I love knitting and cross-stitching. Basically any activity that a 97-year old granny would do, I enjoy.

2. I’ve been a runner for a few years and am building my half marathon experience. I’m no expert, but running helps keep my body healthy and mind happy.

3. My favourite movie is Almost Famous, though my most watched movie is the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy. If you ask me if I’ve watched any other movie, there's a 95% chance the answer is no. Try it!

4. I’m the youngest of four and I have seven nieces and nephews!

5. I’ve been a regular blood donor since 2014. Have you ever donated before?

6. I love baking, though I don’t make enough time for it (nor do I want to eat everything I make).

7. My happy place is skating on the frozen Assiniboine River here in Winnipeg. My neighbour and I even made our own ice rink in our front yards in the winter and it was the best thing ever.

8. If you have peonies in your wedding bouquet, I may try to steal them. Fair warning.
